AICAT Registration
I am officially registered with the Generalitat de Catalunya under AICAT number 12,971.
AICAT (Registre d’Agents Immobiliaris de Catalunya) is a mandatory registry for real estate agents operating in Catalonia. It ensures that agents meet the required legal, professional, and ethical standards to provide real estate services. Registration guarantees transparency, consumer protection, and compliance with Catalan property laws.
It's important to note that AICAT is a public registry, while API (Agente de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria) is a professional association. While API membership is optional, AICAT registration is alegal requirement to operate in real estate in Catalonia.
